Magic Eraser

This browser-based tool removes a solid-colour or plain background from a photo and gives you a PNG with a transparent background. It works by sampling the colours at the corners of the image and making every connected pixel of a similar colour transparent, starting from the edges. It is not an object-removal or content-aware-fill tool: it cannot paint over a person, a bin or a car and reconstruct what was behind it. It works best on product shots, logos, signatures and portraits taken against a flat white, grey or coloured backdrop. Use the sensitivity slider to remove more or less of the background: a higher value removes more similar shades but can start eating into the subject, a lower value keeps more detail. If the result is not what you want, use Undo and try a different sensitivity. Photos with busy or gradient backgrounds will not be cleanly separated. All processing runs locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to a server.
